Role: Product Manager, digital ad sector, develop new products & deliver to market

Salary: £60,000 to £90,000, depending on experience, plus excellent commission & benefits

Location:  London

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Manager with proven experience
of guiding team’s digital product roadmap from development to delivery.

The client is an international digital marketing and technology agency creating & engaging shareable social content, using proprietary tech to deliver target audiences, in a cost effective way.
You will make best use of market analysis, user-centric design, internal direction, stakeholder management, feasibility analysis and feature prioritization, and you will work with
the engineering team.

The Product strategy comprises of 4 inter-related areas:
Marketing Science: Products and services that utilise 1st to 3rd party data to discover
and better predict effective content messaging, creative approaches, targeting criteria
and target platforms for digital marketing campaigns
Content Foundry: Products and services that enable brands to use data to make more
effectiveness and more engaging campaign content, sourcing from the client and the
client’s-accredited digital-first, mobile-first creative partners
Media Optimization: Products and services that enable real-time optimization of social
and programmatic digital marketing campaigns according to brand objectives
Website and eCommerce: Products and services that deliver next gen website hosting,
building, dynamic user journey optimization, engagement and conversion into ecommerce and in store activation.

Here are some of the key responsibilities:
• Discovery and delivery of next generation digital experiences,
advertising formats and recommendations-driven services that are fun, engaging
and sales-converting initially (but not wholly) within the world of beauty/make up.
• Experiences will vary widely from simply Quiz through to Augmented Reality
experiences that allow users to digitally test make-up looks on their own face or
conversational experiences driven by Alexa.
• Lead a team of engineers and designers to define possibilities,
prototype and test on real users and deliver experience roadmap.
• Responsible for continuous improvement of the product, identifying and prioritising
improvements and enhancements using quantitive and qualitive data.
• Originate or capture, analyse and document business requirements in form
suitable for development, testing and editorial communities.
• Translation of business requirements into concise and accurate functional & non-functional documentation for new features and product changes.
• Work directly with peers in the engineering and design/UX teams to ensure
product changes are appropriated specified, discussed, estimated and planned
prior to commencement, using prototypes and wireframes where appropriate.
• Foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including
delivery partners and suppliers as well as peers and more senior internal
stakeholders.
• Provide weekly status reporting for the projects and work-streams under your
management, highlighting any blockers or areas of significant risk.
• Maintain a product feature roadmap for the projects and work-streams under your
management.

EXPERIENCE – REQUIRED
• 3+ years previous experience in a Marketing or Technology organisation focused
on building data-science and/or AI-driven digital recommendations products
• Knowledge of Ad-Tech is a must
• Sound understanding of the software development life-cycle
• Proven experience of software delivery in an agile development environment
• Ability to work in a self-directed way in an unstructured, fast-changing
environment with rapid release cycles
• Ability to rapidly and effectively understand and translate stakeholder requests in
product and business requirements
• Ability to understand and apply industry knowledge, market awareness and
strategic business goals to product strategy and planning
• Good understanding of the relevant technologies and engineering practices (e.g.
client and server interaction patterns, web and app technologies and platforms,
API design, and software engineering processes and practices).
• Experience managing commercial and contractual relationships with third party
suppliers and partners
• Experience of use of GA / SQL queries to analyse performance after release.
