Role: On Trade Wine Sales, selling to restaurants and other on trade clients covering central and greater London, and around the M25. Proven wine on trade sales experience, strong wine knowledge required plus up to date knowledge of current greater London restaurant market. Location: Office in central London. Travel from home for client meetings.

Salary: £37,000 to £40,000 per annum basic with on target earnings to around £80,000 and more.

Are you a proven On Trade Wine salesperson, with proven sales experience and knowledge of the greater London restaurant market?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning medium sized wine merchant to help develop their On Trade sales. A big plus is that you will work directly with the founder and senior management, providing direct input to help develop an already very successful, dynamic business. Main Responsibilities:

On Trade sales to restaurants in central, greater London and around M25 area
Source new clients, working to targets
Manage your own schedules
Manage the Excel based client fulfilment spreadsheet
Attend regular management meetings to help develop business strategy
Attend occasional evening and weekend client & trade wine tastings

Main Requirements:

Proven experience of successfully working in On Trade Wine sales
Up to date knowledge of On Trade restaurant wine sales sector in greater London
Proven wine knowledge – ideally a WSET qualification, but not necessary
Strong IT organisational skills
Ability to naturally get on with clients and colleagues
A proactive self-starter – able to take the initiative
A genuine and enthusiastic interest in wine
Full UK driving licence
